Seals

We live at the boundary between wild and not wild. Most of the time, for most of us, the not-wild world is pretty far away. Or we think it is, anyway.
 
Here in Vancouver, things get a little bit fuzzy. And even downtown there are anomalies. Like in this photo. In front of that float plane, which has its engines running and is coming in to the dock at one Canada's busier airports, there is a seal swimming.

He isn't easy to see but if you look carefully you can see him, right in front of the pontoons.  

I like living on the edge. Even if I am on the tame side. At least the wild is visible.
